I woke up at 3AM in the morning wide awake on my wedding day. I tried to fall back asleep, but gave up after a while and turned on the TV to watch old re-runs of Full House while the city continued to sleep.
Once I showered up and had a cup of coffee the morning began to move by so fast while I was getting pampered by Karla Patricia makeup and Lindsay Griffin hair with the ladies.
*FYI The rest of the pictures in this post are by my wedding photographer Kate McElwee.*
Now, let’s recap my wedding dress. I got the Monique Lhuillier Sonnet as my wedding dress from L’elite Bridal in Boston. I tried on so many dresses in so many different stores, but ended up with this one. It’s an absolutely gorgeous dress.
Kraig and I had our first look on the roof of The Lenox hotel. Kraig’s reaction is priceless.
After pictures with family and the wedding party, it was time for cocktail hour and party time! We hired Kahootz as our band and I highly recommend them. They really know how to get the party going.
There may have been a game of limbo that somehow started with my friend’s scarf. HAHA!
There is a condensed wedding day slideshow that our awesome wedding photographer Kate McElwee made. You can view it by clicking here. Kate is such a professional, kind, helpful photographer that will make you feel completely comfortable around her. I cried the first two times I watched this slideshow and perhaps a few other times. 🙂 Her work is very moving.
