Camel’s Hump State Park – July 2012

Kraig and I had an awesome weekend in Burlington, VT this summer. The trip started off  early on a Friday with a long drive from Boston to Camel’s Hump State Park followed by a  3-4 hour hike to the top. We packed PB&J sandwiches and plenty of water to help fuel us through our hike.

Struggling on the way up.

The view from the top made it worth our effort.

It’s important to keep in mind that you need to climb down the mountain you decide to climb up. Luckily it took a lot less time to get down (about an hour and a half).

It’s a good thing we got exercise in during the day because our evening was going to be spent at a brew fest.  Here are more pictures from our hike on Camel’s Hump if you’re interested. I’ll post  more details on Burlington in my next post!
