Kraig had Patriot’s Day off from work this year, so I decided to take the day off as well so we could spend the day together. I got really excited that the sun was shining over the weekend, so I broke out some spring clothing on Saturday!
Necklace – old from J. Crew. Similar here, here, and here.
Shirt – old from Anthropologie. Similar here and here.
Pants – Forever 21! They’re so long, so I had to wear 4-5 inch wedges with them. I should probably get them hemmed. They have an elastic waist, so they’re super comfortable.
We went to the new Slumbrew Brewery location on Saturday night to check out the space. It was the second night of their soft opening and was crowded. Once we got a seat and waited 15 minutes or more to order a beer, things were good. It took a long time to get the bartender’s attention. Since it was a soft opening, I guess you can expect chaos. The food menu looked good and the beers were tasty, so I would definitely go back another time. Once we did get service, the bartender was very nice.
I wasn’t able to snag anything at the Lilly for Target sale on Sunday morning, but I’ll admit I only looked online. I have a few friends that went in person early in the morning that didn’t have any luck either. I chose to try and shop it from the comfort of my couch in my new pineapple pjs from Vikkies. These are so comfy and pineapples are everywhere right now. They’re the perfect lightweight pajamas for the spring and fall. I’ve had these super toasty warm UGG slippers for a few years now. It’s almost time for a new pair.
Kraig and I spent the day meeting up with his brother and his girlfriend for lunch at The Fat Cat in Quincy. They have the best chicken wings there. I think their wings are better than their famous mac and cheese. I decided to break out my white jeans before Memorial Day because I honestly think it gets too hot here in the summer for jeans.
Necklace – old from J. Crew. Similar here, here, and here.
Shirt – J. Crew available here.
Pants – Old pair of Joe’s jeans. Similar here and here.
Coat – Old by Mackage. Similar here and here.
On Monday, Kraig and I went to Sofra Bakery for lunch. Make sure you get the whipped feta if you ever go here. It tastes so yummy with their crackers and bread.
What a wonderful way to spend the long weekend together!
LOVE the pants in the first picture!! Cute style!
Thank you Ashligrace. I think forever21 is having an online sale today if you want to snag a pair! 🙂
