Most weekday mornings are very rushed trying to make it into my office by 8AM. This results in me slabbing on a few makeup products so I don’t look like death, but not necessarily putting a full “face” of makeup on. Here are some products I like to throw on when I may skip the foundation, but still don’t want to look like I just rolled out of bed before coming into the office.
I start with a moisturized and SPfed face and then apply Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Taupe to my brows (more details on the blog here) and Diorshow Mascara (Free sample from Sephora!) is added to my top lashes.
Next up is adding some color to my face with Laura Mercier Lotus Pink Blush. I find myself reaching for this blush year round. It’s the most beautiful pop of pink to add to the apples of my cheeks and is long-wearing. It helps bring life to my pale face and seems to brighten everything up quite fast without having to use much product. Afterwards, I apply Topshop Glow Highlighter in Polished to the strobing parts of my face. I finish off with MAC Cremesheen Fanfare on my lips. I find this to be a wonderful everyday shade that’s easy to apply and feels very creamy on the lips.
Depending on my time crunch, I might apply Murad Acne Concealer Stick to any zits and Makeup Forever to any old acne scars.
It’s worth mentioning a scent I’m just loving as a perfume this Winter is the Joe Malone London Wild Fig & Cassis Cologne. I can’t find this for sale anywhere online as it looks like it’s sold out everywhere. I purchased this last Winter and find it’s such a hypnotizing delicious smell during the Winter months. I don’t know if this smell was discontinued or something, but I’m feeling quite panicked because my little bottle is almost gone!
So what do you think of my “no makeup” makeup look to use in a hurry? Do any of you do quick makeup looks like this or do you insist on wearing a full face of makeup to work everyday or skip it all together? Comment below!
