I can’t believe it’s been almost two years since Kraig and I got engaged in Big Sur, California. Kraig and I chose to have a long engagement, so we’d have plenty of time to save for things like an awesome honeymoon. We’re still debating on where to go for our honeymoon, so let me know if you have any warm beach destination recommendations for October.

This past weekend, my parents and my sister threw me a beautiful bridal shower at my parent’s house in my hometown that I grew up in. It was so much fun and decorated so beautifully, I couldn’t help but feel so very thankful and overwhelmed with joy on the occasion. I was so sad when it was over and can only imagine what it will be like when my wedding ends.

I wish I had more pictures, but it’s hard to take pictures when you’re busy having fun! That’s why it’s so important to have a good wedding photographer!

This weekend, I’m heading to a wedding in Connecticut for two of my friends that are getting married.  I can’t wait to go to this wedding because I know it will be a lot of fun and have a lot of great detail!

I’m at that stage in my life where a lot of people my age are getting married.  I went to the beach last weekend with my friends and we were all doing things like applying sunblock constantly, wearing huge sunhats, and searching for shade. Well that is normal for me because I have very fair skin, but it’s funny to see the getting older changes starting with everyone else too.
