The 4th of July and my bachelorette party in Nantucket.

July started out with running The Hingham 4th of July Road Race. I was scared to do this race because I never ran more than a 5K before and didn’t know if I’d be able to finish. I’m happy to say that I was able to finish! 🙂 I think doing tone it up and blogilates workouts really helped me have the the stamina to finish the race. The weather was very bogus on the 4th this year, so it interfered with the cookout fun that usually ensues on that day.

Later on in the month was my bachelorette party weekend in Nantucket!! I had so much fun and feel so very thankful that I have such an amazing sister, sister-in-law, and friends that all wanted to be a part of my special weekend! I don’t remember the exact names of all the places we went to because I didn’t plan it, but we did stay at The Barnacle Inn for anyone curious. This picture was taken at Jetties Beach.  We had lunch at the restaurant here before parking our bums in the sand for a couple of hours.

photo 2It wasn’t my birthday, but I thought it was really cool the bar had this flag with my name on it.

The next day, we visited a beach for a bit before doing a Nantucket Bike Tour to the brewery.

The bike tour ended at Cisco Brewery where we all had a drink before going back to the bNb to get ready for dinner. I had such a lovely time in Nantucket and feel so appreciative of the wonderful friends and family I got to share it with!
