It took me a long time to find a dress for my maternity photos and baby shower.  Trying clothes on pregnant is not the most fun experience because your body is changing so much and nothing fits. I can’t afford to be spending tons of money on maternity clothes and I found this super cute Jessica Simpson Maternity Dress at Motherhood Maternity on sale. It’s very comfortable and I received a lot of compliments on it.

For my maternity photos, I paired the dress with a pair of brown Frye Ridgecrest Boots. I purchased these boots from Anthropologie years ago and they no longer sell them. It was a very cold day so I needed something that would keep my feet warm. I found similar boots here, here, and here.

For my baby shower, it was a warmer day so I paired the maxi with a pair of brown Sam Edelman sandals. These sandals are the best. I’ve gotten so much use out of them over the years. If you don’t believe me then checkout all the good reviews online.

What are some of your favorite maternity photo looks? I really like the floor length tulle skirts with a cute tank top or sweater tucked in. I also like the look of off the shoulder maxi dresses.
