I love trying out different makeup removers and cleansers. One of the most recent products I’ve been trialing is the Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil. This cleansing oil melts away grime and makeup without leaving an oily residue on your face. It’s great on my sensitive skin and leaves my skin feeling refreshed.
To use it: Apply 1-2 pumps of the product into the palms of your hands and then gently massage onto a dry face. Work all over your face including very gently around your eye area. I usually need to lightly massage it a bit into my eyelashes in order to remove my mascara. Once you finish your facial massage, add a few drops of water to your face to emulsify the product into a milky texture and then remove it all with a warm facecloth. You could end here by drying your face with a clean dry facecloth or go to the next level by following this up with a second cleanse product or face mask. My favorite second step cleanser is Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel which I talk about here.
The Sephora Website has more details f you want to know more: This gentle and effective cleansing oil removes makeup, brightens the complexion, purifies pores, and is packed with anti-aging and hydrating skin nutrients. It utilizes a unique nanotechnology that enables water to reduce the oil phase of this cleanser to micro-sized particles, which rinse away surface debris (including waterproof makeup) quickly and easily. Rich in Vitamin E (tocotrienols), this complex refines the appearance of pores, protects against free radical damage, detoxifies, and nourishes skin.
I really like this cleanser and feel like it leaves my face refreshed with a nice healthy complexion. My one complaint is that I have to put more effort in to remove my eye makeup with this than I may need to with some other products. It still comes off, but just not as simple as it would be with some competing products. However, for the great results & reviews I think it’s worth giving a shot yourself. What are some of your favorite makeup removers?
