Some Of My Favorite Budget Beauty Products.

Between having a baby and buying a house this year my budget for beauty products have certainly dwindled. I’m rounding up some trustworthy products I’ve been enjoying the past 7 months that hopefully won’t break the bank for you.

Weleda Skin Food. I love this stuff. I use it as a nighttime moisturizer for my face and you can also use it anywhere on your body. It works especially well for extra dry winter skin. It can also be layered underneath makeup to ensure a healthy, moisturized, dewy look. I have super dry sensitive skin and this has worked wonderfully as a nighttime moisturizer for my face. I also love using it as a hand cream before bed time and slather it on any body parts that need extra moisture.

Burt’s Bee Face Lotion with SPF 30. I’ve mentioned this face cream before here, here, here, here, and here. I absolutely love this stuff. It has SPF in it, improves the firmness of your skin and helps diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It can be worn alone or layered under makeup. I wear this as my everyday face moisturizer. It can leave a small white “tinge” to your face if you don’t rub it in to your skin well enough. So just be mindful of that. I love that I can get moisture and SPF in one shot with this without using a product that will make my skin break out or greasy.

Burt’s Bees Eye Cream. This is a nice lightweight eye cream to provide moisture to the eye area, waken it up a bit, and doesn’t cause any type of irritation. It’s more of a daytime eye cream and layers nicely under concealer.

Rosebud Salve. I’ve been using this stuff forever. A tin of it will last at least a year on my nightstand. I like using it on my lips or a chapped nose. It keeps my lips moisturized with no cracks.

Coconut Oil. This works great to cleanse the face or remove makeup. Simply warm a little coconut oil in the palm of your hands, gently massage your face with it, and remove with a warm facecloth. It can be used alone to clean a no makeup face or as a first step to remove makeup in a two step cleanse.

Bioderma. This is the best lazy girl makeup remover. Soak a cotton pad with Bioderma and remove the makeup from your face. Easy and effortless.
